Care Instructions — Sterling Silver

Marchina pieces are made in .925 sterling silver to preserve its glow and detail, we recommend the following care:

• Store it dry, and alone. Keep it in your original Marchina pouch or box, away from humidity and other metals.
• Clean it gently. Use your Marchina polishing cloth (or a silver polishing cloth you have) to restore shine and remove tarnish. 
• Avoid water and chemicals. Remove your jewelry before swimming, showering, or applying perfumes and lotions to avoid tarnish quicker.
• Tarnish is normal. If your piece darkens, don’t worry it can be cleaned easily and safely with your polishing cloth, or mix a small bowl of lukewarm water with a few drops of mild, fragrance-free dish soap, dip a soft cloth or a soft-bristled toothbrush into the solution and gently clean the silver, avoiding any delicate stones or gold plating (unless the entire piece is plain silver). Rinse thoroughly under the water, and pat dry with a soft cloth. Once it's fully dry use your Marchina polishing cloth to restore the shine.
